Refund Policy

The following policy applies to all events unless a specific event explicitly modifies it. No refund is given for membership fees. Registration can be transferred to another person if requested in writing by e‐mail or post. For security reasons, all requests for substitutions or transfers must be received via email at least 24 hours before the event with the name and contact email for both the registered and replacement delegates. All refunds are subject to a administrative fee of at least 10%, but not more than $50, of the original fee paid. • If canceled four or more weeks before the event, 100% of the registration fee (less the administrative fee) will be refunded. • If canceled between four and two weeks before the event, 50% of the registration fee (less the administrative fee) will be refunded. • No refund is given if canceled within two weeks of the event. Amendments: Baseball Ontario reserves the right to modify the program up to the day of the event. It may be necessary, due to unforeseen circumstances, to alter the program, venue and/or speakers. Regrettably, this means no refunds or credits can be issued in line with the cancellation policy. Change in Date: If unforeseen circumstances cause Baseball Ontario to change the date of an event, all delegates will be informed as soon as possible and a transfer to the new dates will be offered. If the new date is unacceptable, delegates can request a full refund. Cancellation: If unforeseen circumstances cause Baseball Ontario to cancel an event, all delegates will be informed as soon as possible and a full registration fee refund will be made. In the event of a cancellation, Baseball Ontario accepts no responsibility for covering travel, hotel or other costs incurred by delegates and guests. Inclement weather: a delegate/participant’s ability to attend an event because of weather, while regrettable, is not cause for a refund.
